Too soft Too hard!
Hello everyone! Hope you had a good Thanksgiving and or DAY!
I am having a dilemma with firm mattress my husband has to have! When I put padding to compensate for slight dip in mattress it's too hard on my shoulders( and I prefer to sleep on my sides) take it out and the dip puts pressure on my back! Sleep on my back and my neck and my back give me troubles! We went shopping for new mattress a few months ago but that wasn't working out very well either, I liked it ,he didn't! And visa versa! LOL! I suggested separate mattresses ... like two extra long twins that we could put together but he needs more width to stretch out than I do. He is 6ft plus and I am about 5'2". We have been together way too long to be able to sleep apart. When he was in hospital I would lay next to him so we could both get some sleep and comfort. But eventually my neck ,back ect would make that impossible (besides the nurses, cleaning, lab people and meal servers coming in all day and night long!) Oh and my husband says he is too hot on any of the memory foam ones too. So we gave up and didn't get new mattress! Hoping and dredding to go back to find the right mattress. Did I mention that years ago we had the air mattress and everytime he would get up I hit bottom! LOL! Had water tube mattress and never could find happy medium before that! I think my husband is going to have to settle for the twin ones put together but I will still need separate bottom sheet for when he gets in bed it tightens too much for me! I truely see no other way around it. And just told my husband my thoughts as I have written here and he is now agreeing it is our only solution. He will just have to deal with the middle feeling harder from edges of our separate beds together. I know we will get use to it too! Will just have to convince hubby of same! And guess what that means I get to have jersy sheets on my side! Yay! LOL! He can't stand them ... says they cling to him! LOL!
Praying all my friends a safe, happy and painfree day!
