Too heavy
I once wanted complete control over everything in my life. But now I feel totally out of control. Maybe it's time I gave my life over to someone or something braver and bigger than myself. I tried controlling everything my weight, my suicidal impulses etc. etc. maybe it's time I gave my to God again. I amĀ Little bit frightened by the whole thing but life is too heavy to carry on by myself.

My dear friend I am so glad to hear you speak these words. Until recently I never prayed and God was just a word, but suffering brought me to my knees. I have found that God is real and that He truly answers prayers that come from a sincere heart. I have hope now, even on my darkest days, and a sense of purpose that carries me through my storms. He loves you more than you can imagine and He grieves for your pain, as I do. I am making myself available as a friend to help you as you gingerly tread the path to giving your life over to Him and I will support you all I can. Please message me anytime. I am not religious and I won\'t lay a bunch of doctrine on you. My theology is simple: love God and love others and pray your butt off as much as you are able. These things have made an incredible difference in my life. Were someone to tell me all the good things that would come if I would just pray I would have thought them naive until recently. Now I am bombarded with blessings and answered prayers and I must admit I now believe I was wrong when I blamed God for all of my pain. I will give you a few examples of answered prayers: 1. We were facing destitution and my wife now has two job interviews. 2. I desperately wanted to get off pot and I now have no desire to return. 3. I was depressed for weeks and nearly killed myself and now I am on my second good day. Those are just the tip of the iceberg. He loves you and so do I my friend! In fact I prayed for you this very morning. You have never been forgotten and His arms are open wide to welcome you home. Drop me a line anytime and we will make the journey to welcoming shores together.
Good for you. God is always going to be there for you, whether you give your life to Him or not. You need to reliquish control of your life to Him and let Him guide you and take that heavy burden off your shoulders. I know it\'s hard to do. I\'m struggling with that right now. But I know if I can do it, my life will be so much better and easier.
