Tomorrow is another day

Well, about to go to work soon. This week I am supposed to be earning $12.50 per hour. Last week I was training on dayshift and making $12 an hour. Tomorrow is payday. Just debating hitting a Saturday meeting. I responded to another person about their complaint about it being 2 hours to a GA meeting and I suggested they start their own.

Yet here I am sort of not happy about my 30 min drive to one myself...Talk about silly! I am seriously considering starting a morning one near me. There's so few on a weekend here.

Spoke with Dayshift supervisor, regarding the Grave Supervisor shutting down my machine so I could catch up. I was worried about my rate of production and the supervisor getting in trouble. The supervisor said "If you are doing what you are told to do, you are OK and the mangement doesn't want unhappy workers who are stressed. Don't worry, do your best and that's all"

Felt better about tonight. Plus got my sleep schedule down. Noon to 6 pm, then sleep another 1.5-2 hours from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm...I park in the lot at work, for the second sleep, but they don't mind.

Next week, it'll be interesting. They came to me Monday and asked about overtime. I asked they wait on week then we'll talk. I have decided on 3 days of "Stay Late" so I'll be getting off at 11:15 am instead of 7:15 am. Mon, Tue and Wed nights this leaves me open for weekends if needed also.

I can see that they could use 5 more employees per shift. But since they don't have them, this means more cash for those, like me, for bills. Still looking for a larger vehicle to survive in with more room. I'd love a box van, with shower and stove. No more need for community center. Will keep looking out for one, but till then, pay the bills....
