Tomorrow

Tomorrow, will be a tough time for me.  I will be speaking at my sister's graveside service.  About 4 yrs. ago, I did my youngest half-sister's graveside.

In Jan. of this year, I did my sister's husband's graveside and now, I will be doing hers.  She is my last remaining sister.

In 1999, I played piano for my mother's funeral, in the little country church that she grew up in as a child.   I played all her favorite hymns that she loved.  This I considered an honor to do.

My sister didn't want a regular funeral.  Just a graveside service like her husband had.  Now, there's just my twin brother and I that are left from dad's 10 children, 5 boys and 5 girls.

It just seems so strange, that both her and her husband, are gone within 6 months of each other.  That's what death does, it leaves just a void in a person's life, whether it be a close friend or a family member but, I will be ok.

Gentle hug Peewee..... May God help you through this painful time.... It does seem really strange to know certain people are no longer here with us.... It's hard to imagine that we won't see them again.... At least on this side..... Bless you my friend.....xo

I'm sorry Peewee for all these losses. I have heard that, though, when someone loses their spouse they give up and join them soon after. It's amazing how much the body is connected to the heart. When the heart breaks, so does the body.

I'm sorry for your loss Mike it is true that people do say that when your soulmate dies the partner dies soon after two halves of the same heart ...I will be thinking of you tomorrow ...

Hi friend, I'm picking up on your feelings, OB, and it makes me stronger to know that you are sharing this news. I'm so sad for you, and glad that your sister is at rest with her husband now. I feel that she is very happy to know what a good person you are, and how much of a leader you've been here at DS support groups. Thanks for taking good care of you and Mrs Biker. I do hope the best for each of you these upcoming days of trials. I hope for swift healing. Bless you & tight hugs...much love!
