Tomorrow
Hello Sisters,
Well I am back from 10 days in Maui. It sure is beautiful and we were lucky in that the weather was beautiful most days. We had heavy rain 1 day but we still found ourselves out and about. I am always glad to be home, safe, in my coccoon. I do okay the first 7 days, then I begin emotionally to melt down - feeling lost, wanting familiar surroundings, bickering with hubby - just wanting to be home.
Tomorrow is work - glad to be back in a routine - maybe things will calm down for me- I can only hope.

Hi Vicki, I'm glad you had a good time but I'm the same way. After a bit I start to feel unsettled & need to be home in my safe place. I was much more adventurous before Eddie passed. This journey has so many layers.

I LOVE Maui! It's the one destination I'm always ready to return to! But I totally get being ready to be home....safe, comfortable, familiar.

I am glad you had a break in Maui! I am sure Jennifer was with you!
I used to be anxious to go home after a week or two. Now, I get depressed when I have to go home. I don't deal well with reality. When we are away, I concentrate on other things.

I hope you did have a good time, understand that there is no place like home. It is good to get away to appreciate home and a comfy bed. I am ready for time off but not getting any till Nashville.
