Tommy is in jail, contractions started
So Tommy showed up at the house last night. I guess he thought that mom was at work or something, but she was asleep. He was really angry and he started to attack me. I was able to run out of the house to a neighbors but i honestly dont remember how i managed it. i just knew i had to get away.
the cops were called. they arrested tommy who at that time was screaming he would kill me. mom kept saying that i provoked him. and then she told the cops that if i ever stepped foot in her house again she would kill me. but she had to let me (with an officer with me) so i could get my stuff (only things i bought). This ammounted to my laptop, my hospital bag, babys hospital bag, and a garbage bag full of baby clothes i havent had time to go through. everything else tommy bought.
after that they started to take me to an emergency foster house when the contractions started. since im seventeen, and it is (slightly) before term they called my doc and took me to the hospital. im here right now. contractions are about fifteen minutes apart. im able to walk around and so far its not too painful. im three cm dilated right now and fully effaced. water hasnt broken so the doc is letting me progress naturally.
one of the female officers is with me right now, though i know she doesnt have to be. tommy got out on bail already (mom hired him a laywer too) and my social worker is trying to find me a foster home. i dont know where im going or what im gonna do now. but gonna go with the flow.
im scared and feeling alone. and im not even sure im gonna make a good mom.

It is just heartbreaking that your mom is so mean and nasty towards you while your brother is the rapist in the house. I am glad you are out of there. I wish you had someone you knew and trusted with you, but I am sure you will make new connections. As you say, you just have to take it one day at a time for now and go with the flow.
I am amazed that someone who raped his sister, attacked her when she was heavily pregnant, and screamed that he was going to kill her would be able to get out on bail. I'm very glad the police officer has stayed with you so you can feel safe and focus on what's happening with your body. I hope you have an easy birth.

i do have an emergency order of protection against him and he has to show up.....the contractions are starting to get more painful so i might not be on till after. i cant wait to meet her. im about five cm dilated now. so far so good as far as heartbeats are concerned.
