More like a tapas bar or gastropub than just a bar, at an izakaya you take your pick from beer, whiskey, sake, and a wide variety of Japanese (and not-so-Japanese) foods.
Many izakaya also offer some fun Japanese takes on Western cuisine. Don't be surprised to see things like mochi pizza or seaweed-topped fries. An izakaya is a casual place where you can have drinks with friends and co-workers while enjoying all kinds of food. You'll find college students having a party alongside suit-clad salarymen sipping drinks after work, young couples and even groups of energetic grandmas.
We also have individual dining rooms which could serve as a good place for business entertainment. When you open the lid, you smell the fragrant flavor of fluffy and savory Kabayaki fresh from the grill. Enjoy it with rice … This is the best moment of Una-ju.

They open 24 hours a day and you can enjoy drinking during a daytime, too. The restaurant with fish tanks is decorated in a Japanese beach-hut-style that makes you feel as though you at the beach. There are more than 50 restaurants in and around Tokyo, including 11 in the Shinjuku district. Omoide Yokocho is a maze of small alleys, 3 minutes walk from Shinjuku west exit.
Our very “Japanese” interior is reminiscent of an old house in Kamakura. Our bottles of wine start from ¥2,000, a very reasonable price. If it's possible, please make a reservation for lunch. They tend to be concentrated around train stations, but you'll find them scattered in residential areas, too.
Please enjoy the pork cutlet with the flavor and umami confined by sprinkling the sword-standing batter of ultra-coarse ground raw bread crumbs with a focus on texture and oil shortage. In the beginning of the Meiji period, Japanese hot pot with chicken was introduced to areas from Ueno to Kanda. All Japanese tatami rooms are in "horigotatsu" style, where sunken areas are made under the tables for comfortable leg room.
