Toe Tapping

So far so good on the Grand Party. This morning finds me on the manicky edge of hyper drive. Zoom zoom. Let's get this show on the road, folks! We gots songs to sing. We gots bells to ring. We gots joys to discover. We gots love to uncover. Why you sleeping away the day? It's almost dawn!

What speeds some up, slows others down. Where's my coffee? Does I really need another cup? How ironic is it that I can barely get myself to drink coffee on my hyper mornings? It fucks with my tummy tum. Nonetheless, I am still sipping on my second cup while I ply calming tools. This morning's imagery is a fave which I started using during the years that routing circuit boards was my primary bed and butter. The imagery is Continental Electrical Power Grids. The ones you can see Most Anywhere, Planet Earth. It is comprised of the power lines most folks don't seem to notice as they drive from one chore to another. They are far more noteworthy when birds gather there, but the lines themselves are too common for note.

Unless, of course, you are The Arf. How can you not notice the intricate variety in mosaic of lines and posts crisscrossing the landscape? How can you not wonder about why this pole is skinny black wood and that pole is a fat metal polygon?

In the calming exercises, my hyper-drive is connected to a fat metal polygon. High voltage. Approach with caution. Trust the engineers to maintain the connections and focus on regulating energy flows.

Sigh. . . Some things are easier to do than to say. . . Well Just it all! ! !

The red hues of sunrise have reached the clouds outside my southern exposure window.

And those lazy bums are STILL sleeping! ? ! ?

Dawn? Can't fathom watching the sun rise., yes definitely sun sets. I have a friend who goes to bed with the sun and wakes with the birds , he's a farmer.

I've been a bit energized, or 'wired' from last night and all through the day. Only just stopping around 9:30pm from starting the manic clean in my kitchen, right down to bleaching the white counters and sort of yellowing sink...my house is 60+ years and I've got an old double porcelain sink,

Perhaps the Irish gremlins have left, I'll find my pot of gold with my fingers and toes cleaning up and cleaning out. Amen! Hoping all turned out during your day as you wished :)

Leave me out of the daybreaker debate. I consider myself a 24/7 gal. The hours I am awake depends on where the action of the day is. Every hour of every day holds a special magic and greedy wench that I am, I wants 'em all!

I can't seem to help feeling pity for those who have never seen a sunrise and utter amazement at those who make it sound like a personal accomplishment to miss the greatest show in nature for their entire lifetime. Whether it marks the end of a night event or the beginning of a day, I haven't missed too many sunrises in my life. Even through heavy cloud cover, the might and majesty of sunrise is too awesome to miss in my day.

But. . . Different strokes for different folks. . .

Lately I’ve unfortunately been missing my dawns and the final blooms of my night flowers but my family has been even outdoing my oversleeping. I can
Empathize with the impatience of waiting for the “bums” to get there lazy bums out of bed, Arfie.

Hugs & love.

Thank you, Jan. My hand-written journal, alone, is more books than I care to read, much less edit, etc., through all the hoops of publishing. Then we get to my blogs, letters, editorials, etc. I amnae joking when I list hyper-graphia as a formal dx in my psych portfolio.

My writing is far too valuable a therapy tool to give up for the hard and humbling work of Becoming A Writer.
