Toe in the water

Day 3 I just woke up and the soreness from yesterday has calmed down. I'm still sore but it is back in my normal soreness range. (strange to have an acceptable level of soreness). Since I have developed asthma about 2 years ago my ribs and chest are always sore to one degree or another. I guess it's from all the coughing. Sometimes, like yesterday, it gets much worse... usually following a severe exacerbation. On those occasions I can't stand to even be touched. Being too sore to talk much though is a first. And I was alarmingly short of breath and after only brief activity yesterday. This last asthma flareup due to the URI must have been a little harder on me than I thought. Or maybe it's because this one followed closely on the heels of my last flareup.  I don't know.  On the plus side, I am not particularly jittery.  I seem to be on an even keel today and that's good. It may not last because I'm still on the pred but I'm going to enjoy it while it's here. My activities are limited and I'm bored...so I may be making entries more than I normally do. Sorry about that. Oh well, it's time to face the day. Being retired ,my calendar for the day is wide open and that's good too. Although my day's adventures may be limited to things I can do from my easy chair.  Oh well, where's the remote? Be well,Tom
