Today was a hard day.

Today I really missed my best friend, etc.  It was a beautiful fall day and we would have gone for a ride..either in the car or on motorcycles.  Sundays are always hard, so that added to the sadness.
I am also feeling the loss because next weekend my 2 sons and myself are driving to OK, to have part of Chuck's ashes interned next to his parents graves.  It will be an emotional trip; one that I will be glad to have over with.  The other part of his ashes will go to the ocean someday.
Last Sunday, oldest son Jon and I took part in PurpleStride; a fundraiser here for pancreatic cancer.  Chuck would have been so proud of Jon.  He walked the 5K in honor of his dad.  It was a fun morning.
Hopefully tomorrow I won't feel so lonely.

I\'m so sorry you had a hard day. I can\'t imagine your sadness but I pray that you will feel better each day. I think of going through all of this some day - as you know my husband has terminal cancer. Being together since age 15 makes it seem unbearable. We will make it though. You take care. Sue

I am so sorry that you had a hard day. Like you, Sundays are always hard for me. It was \"our\" day that we would spend together.

Hugs, Carla
