Today\'s story

Well, the sun is finally shining.   It has been a long long winter here.  It's not over yet.  I will be very happy when it is over... It is going to be a wonderful year.  My daughter is getting married in September.  It will be a destination wedding.  I'm happy for her and sad as well as she will be moving to the Detroit area.  Guess I will just have to go and visit often!  My son is hoping to get into the University of Iowa so he will be leaving in the fall as well.  So I will be an empty nester!  Excited for myself and this new venture in my life and scared.  I feel like I need to make some kind of change....maybe not.  I know for sure I need to step it up a notch with my job.  And I'm not too sure about this job.  I've had another interest in another job with a woman that I ride the train with in the morning.  She works for the AHA and they have an HR opening.  Not sure if I would fit the role but I will at least talk to them and see what is involved.  I'm feeling good today.  Good about myself and my life for today.  I am healthy and that is all that you can ask for.  Talk to you soon.....
