Today is a good day
Hubby took me to a movie today and it was a blast. It was so nice to get out of the house and not have stuff to do. We even had McDs for breakfast - first time we have eaten out in almost two weeks. It made it special - if not all together healthy!LOL!
Corso, my Service Dog in Training, did very well. This was only her second time in a movie theater. She does not like how loud they are, it hurts her ears. I may have to make her some ear muffs for future movies. Mostly she stayed on her down stay in front of me, though she did a lot of wiggling around. The theatre was almost empty with only one other couple who were sitting way in the back so her wiggles did not bother anyone. At least she didn't snore like she did the last time we went to a movie.
My voice has been coming back for one or two words here and there - which gives me hope that it will come back on its own without waiting 18 months and then more surgery.
The incision area is almost flat now with the rest of my neck and itches constantly. I have found that as long as I keep Vit E on it, it just feels better. It still feels like there is pressure inside my neck pressing on my esophagus, but I was told to expect that for weeks if not months.
Yesterday I could not stay awake and all that sleep has given me some energy today. I have gotten five loads of laundry washed - but someone else has to fold and put it away. LOL if hubby and daughter do not start on that soon the livingroom is going to be burried entirely in clean laundry!
All in all, I am feeling better today.
Let's see - pain today. I have only taken pain killers twice (so two vicaden, one muscle relaxant). Wont' give a current pain standing as I just took my pain meds and they have not kicked in yet.
