Today, a collegue of mine passed away..

He passed away at home.  He was 34 and a chiropractor.  He was really a nice guy, kinda intense, but always filled with energy during those early BNI meetings. Did I know him extremely well?  No.  I knew him enough that I knew he was there every Tuesday morning.  Apparently he had every intention of attending yesterday's meeting.  He event texted another member and said he was running late.  Something terrible happened between the hours of 6:15am and 9am.  What kills me is that he always was proponent of preventative medicine.  I can only imagine that something like a heart attack, brain anerysm where it hit him quickly that there was no way to recover.  I hate the fact that he may have died alone.
A guy that had so many friends, a little boy and a girlfriend died alone.  It makes me sad.  People said great things about him.
I'm bothered by it because I don't think anyone would say that about me except my family.  How have I impacted the world?  What would they say about me?  Right now, its "here lies XXXXX, whose heart was broken because she tried and tried to conceive but could not with her eggs, however, she did find her soulmate"
I know this is about the person that died, but I am really questioning my time and purpose here.  I know for a fact he wasn't doing that.    Farewell Dr. J, you will be missed.
