Good morning Daily strength pals... Well my days have been OK. Today Im hopeing will be as well, we shall see. I have a shrink apt and a counciling apt. Im hopeing to get a new anziaty (cant spell) pill. I have been taking my anti-depression meds and my anti-phycotic as well as mysleeping pills. But I feel I need the other med too because Ive been having some very uncomfortable days. I have a tendancy to abuse pills though I know it. If I get the pills I dont know if I shouls give them to Chad or what. What do you all think should I get the pills should I just suffer thru the times when Im over anxious, or should I give the pills to Chad to hold and disperse. But if isnt home Im fucked! Ahhh I dont know what do do. has any one been in this delema?

if youre easily hooked on pills you dont need antianxiety pills...benzos are highly addictive...i know...i buy them on the street
I\'M NOT ON ANY MEDS. SO I WOULD HAVE TO SAY TRY AND COPE WITH IT ON YOUR OWN. BUT IF YA DO GET THE PILLS AND GIVE THEM TO CHAD AT LEAST YOU KNOW YOU HAVE THEM. MAYBE HE COULD PUT ONE IN A HIDING PLACE AND IF YA NEED IT YOU COULD CALL HIM AND HE COULD TELL YA WHERE IT IS.

Give to Chad to disperse. I have a prob. of abusing pills too. Got so bad my pdoc would only give me 3 days worth at a time!
I would give the pills to Chad and have him leave you with a anti-anxiety pill. They last pretty long 3-4 hours so I think you can survive till he gets back. Good luck with this!!
yes. my huz has had to dispense my pills during touch and go episodes at time and at times he has forgotten...at the same time, at those times i have felt safer that they\'re in the safe and shawn has the keys than have any risk that they could all easily go down the hatch in a moment of desperation...i would hand over the main stash and then have him disperse a small number at a time...maybe a day\'s worth...enough that were you to abuse, you couldn\'t possibly abuse too very much and DEFINITELY couldn\'t use them in a suicidal state...my fourteen cents worth ::wink:: sL

I\'ve suffered from anxiety all my life!! Pdoc prescribed .5mg of Klonopin. That did nothing. He doubled the dose and that did next to nothing.
He upped my Seroquel (which I take at night to put me to sleep, but it\'s also supposed to help with my moods and anxiety) and had me take my 1mg of Klonopin shortly before I take that and it seems to work much better that way, in lessening my anxiety. Maybe a change in meds or in the way you take them would help!!!
Also, maybe if you find just the right cocktail for you, you won\'t feel the urge to abuse yours meds. I stopped craving alcohol, once I was medicated!!!
Whenever it\'s feasible, let Chad do the dispensing. When not possible, have him leave enough for you to get by, but not enough for you to way overdo on!!!!

Do you have one of those pill boxes? I got one from Wal-Mart. I fill it once a week. Depending if you take your pills once a day or three times you can get boxes to meet your needs. You could have your friend sit with you as you fill it then take the extra pills with him that way you won\'t be tempted to take more than you are supposed to. Even tho you could go into the next days compartment and take that one that would be your fault if you don\'t have one for the day you cheated.
I have been messing about and changing meds for the past few months..it\'s not worth it...I ended up like a zombie.

i\'m not too hot wiv pills either so i give them to my mum to give me... she doesn\'t live with me so only leaves 2 days at a time which really helps cos i\'m not constantly thinking bout the waiting pills in my cupboard cos there\'s not enough there to do anything wiv so i don\'t panic... x
I take klonopin for anxiety, tried that? You can take up to 1.5 mg they are similar to valium but go less into your blood strea,but stay for 12 hours. On that Chad could leave you withthree. You shouldnt take 3 at a time and drive but after awhile you could prob do it on 2. They put my kid to sleep for 8 hours on half a one one time.
Sorry that u are going through this. I am addicted to anxiety meds but i have cut down alot on taking them. I have never gone through this dilema before but i wish u lot so luck XXKesha
I agree with searchlight. I also had to give pills to my husband and he would only disburse enough for the day. hugs to you sweetie
I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time. I know how you feel as I have been there before. I have had to give my pills to other people to dispense to me before. Both because I tend to take too many and because I have at times been suicidal. It is OK if he is not going to be around maybe he can leave you one. If he will be gone for a long time then maybe he could leave them with someone else for that time. It will all work out. I will keep you in my prayers.
I also know how anxiety feel and you CAN\'T JUST SUFFER THROUGH IT> please don\'t try to put yourself through that hell.
