To try, or not to try? That is the question...
Wow, so its been a really long time since Ive updated my journal on here. Time is flying by so quickly, that its hard to keep up with the days and wrap my head around all the things I want to accomplish. My husband and I are finally getting completley settled into our new house. Buy furniture, getting new appliances, finishing minor construction work here and there. its all very exciting and a lot of fun, but also SUPER expensive. Sometimes I wonder why more things cant be free in life, lol. We both have also been discussing trying for a baby sometime this year. So many people I know are having children and its a real joy to see their families expand and them bring new little ones into the world. I'm not sure how you're suppose to know you're ready to be a parent. I know with all my heart I want to be a mom, but the thought of being responsible for this tiny precious life terrifies me. And then I look at some of the expenses my friends have, and between diapers, formula, baby clothes and daycare, I'm like "how does anyone afford this!" There are so many variables to consider and it all feels pretty overwhelming. I want to be the best parent i can be for my child, and I want to provide the best upbringing with in my ability. Plus if I'm completley honest, i'm scared of not making it through an entire pregnancy. I'm scared to fall in love with my baby only to lose it. So I guess the next couple of months will involve a lot of discussion and thought about the baby making business.

You are asking yourself all the right questions... just know, if you wait to have enough money, you never will... kids don\'t need stuff, they need love. Yes, diapers, formula and daycare is expensive but besides that, they need very little... You will know when you are ready. As for the fear of losing your baby, it is always a possibility, having lost 8 to get my two beautiful children, I would do it all again! I love them that much and more!!! Can\'t wait to hear when you will be trying!
I agree with Paula. Kids dont need stuff, they need love. hugs to u
