To sum things up...

I am a disabled, single mother, dealing with the needs of a 14 year old, bi-polar teenager, as well as financial bankruptcy/foreclosure of my home, and relocation, being thrown into single care of an elderly parent with severe medical issues and a home to care for and support while she is in a nursing home struggling to recover, while my two brothers struggle to manage to take care of themselves, neither of which seems to be able to manage.
I have had to run errands for the girl, my mother, and both of my brothers. I had to arrange to sell my mother's car (even though my brother had the authority to do so) and deal with the nursing home, doctors, nurses, etc., in order to get my mother out of the nursing home that blamed her for her deterioration and into the hospital to get the care the she desperately needed and find (and get her placed) into an appropriate nursing home, which would actually care for her and help her to recover, rather than blame her for her illness.
For the girl, I have had to deal with the school, arrange for a doctor and a therapist, and deal with her, because the trauma has not been easy for her. One brother, who was handling all of my mother's affairs while she has been ill, has now retreated, although he has power of attorney and medical (whatever you call the authority). For the other brother, he is living with some friends, who are already (apparently) as tired of his habits as I grew after a few weeks, and keeps asking for transportation (and other favors), and I'm surprised that he has not asked for financial assistance.
In all of this, I have hardly had a moment for myself. I don't have a lot of money, but I need to get some clothes, because I have little and I've lost weight. I'm down to 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of lighter pants, and a bunch of v-neck, mens tee shirts that double as pajama tops. Although I do own some sweaters, I need to get some winter clothes and more things to actually wear.
Everyone that I've told about the circumstances with my mother tells me that I've done well to get her out of the nursing home she was in and into another one, and get her the medical care that she needed, but I can't help to feel funny about the entire thing. I felt the need to move in and take over, but I didn't know that my brother was going to just walk away and make me do it all alone.
I guess that my years as a single mother and 30 years as a working woman has prepared me for such duties, but I am hurting now, and don't know how I am going to find the time to do anything about it.
