To My Friends
I was thinking of all my DS friends today. First of all, I can't believe how much time has gone by since I first came here. So many things have happened...to me & to you. Some of you have been with me from the beginning. When I first came here, all of my friends were TTC. Now half are still on that road, while the other half have made it to the road of "motherhood" or "receiving another baby". I have rejoiced with some of you when you finally got the positive you had been praying for, & cried when it ended in miscarriage. I jumped for joy when happy healthy babies have been born to mothers who were beyond ready for them. I have wept for women who carried children only to have to bury them after birth. I have witnessed victories & surrenders in the war of fertility treatments. I have watched women experience the wonderful, unconditional love that comes through adoption. Some of you have never felt the excitement of a BFP, yet you march on...And I have seen more--much more. All of you are among the bravest women I know. I have been inspired by each one of you. I feel I am a better person because of you. I just wanted you to know how much I love you. I also want to say that I know God loves you. Even though we face difficulties, & life is never fair, He loves us. He cannot fix everything. If He did, no one would be free on this earth, & before we came here, He promised us we would be free. God keeps His promises. I am thankful for a loving Savior who suffered for me because he loved me more than anything. He loves you more than anything. Don't forget. I pray each one of you has a Merry Christmas this year, no matter where you are on the road...
