To Me this is \" Something Big \"... :-)

I realize that for Some People this may not seem like such a " Big Deal ", but for Me it's " Something Big " - like I said in My Title for this Entry. The Reason for that is simply this... I've  never truly owned much in the Way of " Special " luxury type items that I could call MY OWN. I understand that when it comes down to it Material Things really don't matter, but when You reach 41 Years Old, and You can't remember EVER really owning much at all in the Way of Things that could be called " Un-neccessary ", or " Luxury " type items... then when something like this happens suddenly now, it is a " Big Deal ". I wasn't spoiled growing up. I didn't grow up like My Nieces and Nephews did with a TV in My Room, as well as My Own Stereo, AND Video Game System. It was a Thrill in My House when My Brother actually got the OLD Video Game " PONG " ! Does ANYONE out there remember " PONG " ????? LOL IF the Kids of Today saw that They'd LAUGH their butts off !!!! It was simply a Paddle on Each Side of the Screen and a Ball bouncing across BACK AND FORTH... BACK AND FORTH... AND SO ON... LOL That was the ONLY Video Game I EVER had growing up, and technically it wasn't mine because it was in My Brother's Bedroom and that was " OFF LIMITS " for Me especially being His Youngest Sister.So... Anyways... to TRY to make a Long Story short... things didn't change much as I got older, since when I was old enough to work I had to work to " survive ", and simply Pay My Bills. There was NEVER enough left over for anything " special ". It was hard enough for Me to save up enough to get a couple of New pieces of Clothing I'd need for Work, once in awhile. Now... Here I am...and I'm Not Working because of being Disabled due to My Bad Knees, BUT Thanks to the Government's Stimulus One-Time Payment recently I was able to splurge a bit on Myself for a Change, and it felt GREAT !!!! Is that Selfish ? I don't think so... not when I feel I deserve it, at least.I ended up spending a big chunk of it at first, anyway, on groceries and household things I needed. But, once I realized that ALL of the Bills had been Paid, and I still had a certain amount of it left, that's when I decided to splurge somewhat on ME for a change ! I bought an External Hard Drive for My Computer. It gives My Computer a LOT of Extra Memory, and I LOVE IT ! One of My Biggest Dreams for Many Years has been to FINALLY have a Computer with enough Memory to practically do ANYTHING that I want on it, and STILL have enough memory left for it to operate quickly, and smoothly. NOW My Dream has come True ! Thank You God ! It was very easy to set Up, so I'm sitting here now with it all set up, and turned on. Now the Only Thing left is to figure out what Files I might want to Transfer onto it, and what New Things I might want to Install that I've been waiting to Install until I got this item.Other Things right now are basically the SAME.... Still in a LOT of Pain from My Bad Knees, AND STILL unsure of My Current Boyfriend - in Fact I just had a Big Arguement with Him Earlier Today, even though He refused to even Call it an Arguement. He claims that We simply had a Discussion. LOL.... When He said that I told Him, " Well.. Maybe a ' Heated Discussion ', then. " LOL ... He still didn't really agree with that either. Right now I'm here in the Living Room on My Computer, and He's in the Bedroom on His Computer - as Usual - playing His W.O.W. game. That's where He typically is UNLESS He's either Asleep, or Outside Smoking a Cig.. I am definitely a W.O.W. Widow - You could say - even though I'm not Married to Him, but since He's living here I think I have the Right to claim this Title. IF Anyone of You know about the W.O.W. Game - World of WarCraft, then You'll understand what I'm talking about, and what I go through EVERY DAY living with Someone that's ADDICTED TO THAT GAME ! At least.... Today I've got My New Toy hooked up - ( My New External Hard Drive ) - LOL... So There ! The Only problem is I don't think He'd EVER notice that I was IGNORING Him by being on My Computer. I doubt it.
