To Feel Like a Man...

A certain power, a certain confidence, a willingness to adapt and bend to any situation, to do what is needed to make a living and maintain a roof over one's head to provide for ourselves and the ones we love, and, yes, a certain virility.  Women are there for love, but it seems to be a man's task to be there for strength.  At the end of the day, it's me and God, standing there like a rock, for a woman and our offspring to rely on.  But we need a woman's warmth and tenderness, to encourage those qualities in ourselves, to feel human, not a machine.  We're not all steel.  We're flesh and blood.  We can cry.  We can be hurt.
