To Bill
In our life times we will meet a variety of people...some will touch our lives while others fade away...Bill was one who touched my life. I did not know until today that he passed away last week. At 86 years old he stilled looked at his wife with a love that is so eternal. They had been married for 66 years!
What makes him so enduring is that he had no airs about him. Always helpful, smiling and caring. He geniunely cared about how you were feeling.
This past international night at our church, we spoke with Bill and his wife about adoption. We spent 2 hours discussing their adoption journey. They were so encouraging and open about everything. I was looking forward to letting them know when we would finally become parents, but that day will not happen now.
In heaven there is a new angel who lived a generous life, filled with love and compassion. God has called him home with open arms.
