Germany represents a common sense compromise:

There, qualified mothers are allowed to leave prison every morning to see their children off to school, spending the day doing housework and preparing meals for their children.    At the end of the day, the women return to the jail to sleep.

Their waking hours are spent "hopefully"  fostering a stable, nurturing environment for the next generation, one that won’t have a CHILD remembering a childhood spent behind bars ... in some countries the children stay with the mother to age six, in prison.  wth?

I'm having that numb feeling again.  i'm hoping its sinus.  first i get dizzy.  so i take my blood pressure pill early.  then i'll feel a bit woozey from it.  then i feel numb and tingly.  so i take 3 baby aspirin.  that helps.  then i'm left with feeling numb by my nose.  so i hope its sinus.  really would rather not face it.  what a year this is.

the guy didn't show to do floors again, nor leave name of another.  found someone from nashville who claims he knows how to do floors and decks and has photos of it.  says he used to do gymnasium floors.  if he is telling the truth that would be great.  really should have been done a week ago.  very annoying.

n is flipping because the new one didn't do any of the work she is supposed to do at the office.  grrrrr.  and the interviewee who is too far away anyway, never showed up.  lots of crap.  n says to me, her eyes bulge and her cheeks go in, she did or does crack.  how would i know, my generation didn't do that kind of thing.  she is 35 and has false teeth.  a lot of people are like that in the southeast though.  she passed her drug test and is married with children (i know that means very little).  training new people that actually work out is like just kill me now.   if i say it to another supervisor, they laugh and roll their eyes, because they go through the same thing.   if they don't raise our pay, getting proper people is going to be near impossible.  seriously.  also need to call the travel agent because there is no way i can vacation when i thought i could.  everything i did for twenty years, i can't do anymore because everyone else takes the same time off, i had more freedom as an assistant supervisor, than i do as a supervisor.  wth?
