TMI WARNING TMI

Okay, this is going to be completely unrelated to anything I've written about here before but I don't know where else to go to write this.  
I'm going out of my mind.  I'm pretty sure I have anal fissures that won't heal.  The itching and pain is crazy intense.  For the most part the pain isn't the worst I've had but the itching, oh my word!  I was planning to make a doc appointment when I got back to my apartment after spending time out at my parents but then my period started and now it's the weekend so the earliest I can get in is next week sometime....probably mid-end of the week.  
I had a shower and just the warm water touching the area about did me in.  The room started going dark on me.  That was painful.  So I don't think soaking in a bath would help.  I've tried hydro-cortisone cream with a mix of canestin or similar type product on the off chance it's yeast but I really think it's tears.  I'm trying hard not to scratch but sometimes it's impossible.  I've also at time when I'm at wits end used a q-tip with some vitamin e oil and applied it to the area or sometimes polysporin...usually whatever is on hand.  I don't know what to do until I can get in with the doctor.  I thought about calling the medical support line that this province has set up but to be honest I'm too embarrassed.  It's hard enough to write about here.
Aside from that, things are going well.  But that is enough to make me go nuts.
