tired of doctors

My first pulmonologist did two CT scans and a bronchoscopy.  He said I had bronchiectasis, enlarged lymph nodes, and other lung irregularities but never did a lung function test or prescribe any medication.
My second pulmonologist did a lung function test, prescribed short term prednisone and inhaled steroids to reduce inflammation, and when the follow up lung function test showed a further reduction in lung volume he said it must be due to a lack of effort on my part on the second test.  He was pleased with my most recent chest CT, but then admitted that he had not actually looked at it , he only read the report.  I had already read the report, and it hadn't given any specific information.  It mentioned lymph nodes with no sizes, bronchiectasis without mention of improvement or lack of such as compared to the other ct's done at the same hospital.
I liked this doctor and thought he understood what my issues were.  But I was wrong.  This is the second time he was supposed to look at CTs and didn't.  Why am I wasting my time and money?!!  I have never had a problem with doctors before, so why all of a sudden do I seem to find issues with every pulmonologist that I see?
Three is the charm, right?  I've been with my primary for 16yrs, hopefully he knows me well enough to point me to the right specialist that won't make me want to scream with frustration.
