Tired.....but GOALS
Okay, I am exhausted! Dealing with all this crap; the roller coaster of emotions, his and Alyssa's has me pretty beat. But......I know that to stop working on myself and my personal strength and clarity, and not to set concrete goals now will be a huge mistake. I know from previous times that this just results in me becoming complacent for a while, dealing with the drama and the abuse until I get too fed up with it and get my strength back--only to go through this same roller coaster all over again. It is really getting old. So....I am off work on Monday, the kids will be in school, and he will hopefully be at work. That gives me time to make some phone calls, do some work, and begin getting myself together. This is the todo list for the upcoming week of June 3-9.
I will call and schedule myself an appointment with the therapist.
I will start the ball rolling to get the girls back into therapy, especially Alyssa.
I will begin researching family therapy and group for the girls.
I will begin making my list of questions to ask the attorney (on here of course), as I only get 15 minutes free.
I will being making a list of resource information I need from the therapist (crisis intervention) in order to get everything in one place.
I will work on one more chapter in the book--really work through it.
I will research and prepare a healthy meal plan so I can get Alyssa on a diet once school ends, and get the whole family involved in the diet (healthy eating) and exercise plan.
I will restart my own exercise program and exercise for at least 45 minutes.
I will start looking into inexpensive activities, such as tae kwon do and kickboxing, zumba, or some other class that we can take together as a family.
I will begin working on the formulation of my long term goals.
I will contact the car company and find out the payoff amount on my car.
I will make a budget and a master grocery list (as the coupon sites keep saying) once I get the meal plan together and then start looking for coupons and sales for the products I need.
I will work on the assignment due this week from my new class and find out about my Masters program.
I will begin researching job options and retool my resume.
I will order my current transcripts from the university.
I will contact the comptroller and set up a payment plan for that last $800 owed to them.
I will get a copy of my current credit report.
I will continue to stand up for myself safely, but dial it back a little bit so as not to raise any more suspicion.
I will write in my journal every day.
I will go to work and stay positive every day.
I will fine tune my "contract with myself" as it pertains to myself and my children.
I will read and absorb as much information as possible about the effects of toxic relationships on children so as to better help my kids cope (in addition to getting them to a therapist).
I will take better care of myself this week--exercising daily, meditating daily, writing daily, doing something I enjoy daily, and focusing on my strengths.
Okay, that seems to about cover the week. I'm sure there are fifteen thousand additional things that will come up, but this is my "must" list for the week.
