Tired and Hurt

I don't get it! Sunday was Easter and I had my family at church with me, and everything seemed fine. However, at 9:00pm my husband found my granddaughter unconscious in her bedroom when he went in to tell her she was a funny kid for burying her cactus next to her dead pet rat. She has been struggling for quite sometime with health issues both physical and mental. She is a cutter, and for whatever reason unknown to her as well she decided to take an overdose of pills (?) She was in a drug induced coma to keep her calm and she was on a respirator also. I was so scared when I saw her! She could have easily been dead by the time my husband found her.
I know I can pray for her and that is the best thing I can do for her, but I need something else that will help her. She is very angry at me right now and blames me for everything and I hate that!!
I have been in her life since day one and she used to come up to me over her own mother, and now she thinks her mother's the greatest thing ever and that I control her too much. I really need to have good sound advice from anyone who is willing to listen to what is going on. She spent Sunday evening, all of Monday, Tuesday, and most of Wednesday in the hospital and now she is in a facility that will hopefully get her the help she needs.

Hello, I am so sorry to hear about this. It is so sad to hear about young children in attempt to take their lives. I am glad she is in a facility. I hope when they discharge her, she will continue to get counseling or therapy. The road is not over because she has been balanced out with medicine. She needs help in correcting the mental area of her life. I am here to listen, I can make suggestions. Please know I am not an legal counselor or social worker.

I am so sorry for this pain in your life. Please do not take all the blame for this. Not one person can cause all the pain for someone to take their life. Their is obviously hidden issues that are causing the mental anguish for wanting to leave this world.

I will praying for you all.

Thank you for your prayers! What\'s sad is the fact that she was getting counseling, but I know there has been lots of things causing her to be depressed and nothing that the drs. did would make a difference in her life, but rather getting more and more depressed.
It is going to be a long and rough road for sometime, so I will be needing people willing to listen and give me godly encouragement.

Faith, I am so sorry about this. I know this is a test of your faith and your assurance in God. Please, please make the time to pray for yourself also. I really don\'t think you would be considered selfish in doing so. I have been hold you and granddaughter up in prayer. Please don\'t tell you are accepting the guilt the dark man will want to throw at you about this. If anything, give it back to him and tell him by the Grace of Our Lord Jesus Christ, to leave you and your family alone. Remember the Power in the Name of Jesus.
Seems to me your church needs to have a \"laying on of hands\" for your girl. To bind the so called power of the dark man and give your girl some time to heal in her spirit. And for you too.
I will continue to pray for you and her, Our Father to build a hedge around you and her against the darts and wiles of the dark man. he can\'t have you because you are God\'s. She is God\'s. Remind her she is precious. To everyone. Not just to the one (s) who want to cause her pain. Remind her there are people out here praying for her. People she doesn\'t even know.
You need some prayer also, my friend. Please don\'t despair. remember that little song, \"He\'s got the whole world in His Hand.\"
Don\'t be angry. Remember Our Father\'s Mercy covers everything. Even attempt on our lives. Everything.
I love you, Faith. Somehow, this just can\'t say what I mean it to say when I tell you that. It just ain\'t able. You know what I mean when I tell you I love you. Keep your faith, Faith. You are beautiful. Your granddaughter is beautiful.

Thank you Tralina! I have been leaning on the Lord to get me and my family through this difficult time. She is doing better but is anemic again so we have to watch that so it doesn\'t get severe like before when she needed the blood transfusion. I can\'t convince her how much people love and care about her. I know that there are people who claim to be friends that haven\'t told me or Kisha how much they care and are here for either one of us. This is the kind of thing that brings her down. I have a hard time with it myself, so often times we feel so alone in the world, and I know that I can be quite sensitive but truthfully people don\'t call or drop by or send a letter stating anything about how they have been thinking about us or praying for us. This is family as well as friends and that is why it is so hard to get past feeling so alone. I haven\'t given up on my faith, instead it is making me rely on the Lord more. NOW if only I could get Kisha to realize she needs to give her life over to the Lord because He and He alone can make things (her health) better she just needs to ask Him.
