Tired

I'm so tired of always feeling sick and in pain in the time! I never have days where I feel well because something is always bothering me! Since the start of spring my sinuses, allergies and asthma have been bad. I changed my asthma action plan with my family doctor which seems to be helping. I am getting pulmonary function testing done which is always a waste of time since only the methacholine challenge truly shows my asthma. My respirologist/pulmonologist only sees me once a year and is never any help.  Since my endocrinologist died I no longer have much hope of ever getting a third surgery. There is no endocrinologist to replace her. My family doctor doesn't understand that parathyroid hormone levels and calcium levels constantly fluctuate. This month I'm getting another thyroid ultrasound because they couldn't tell if I have a bunch of cysts or a nodule with a bunch of cysts. My endocrinologist was going to ask another doctor to look at my ultrasound if they are still inconclusive but that won't happen now. I will see my family doctor two weeks from my ultrasound to go over results. I get a lot of bones and joint pain. My joints are hypermobile making it very easy to hurt them. My stomach is awful with cramping, bloating, gas and bowel issues. The GI I saw was no help and the referral has run out. My yearly ct scans aren't until October or November. I'm in pain with it most days. I'm glad I can vent.

I had a colonoscopy recently and they found scattered small and large mouthed diverticula . I had the same symptoms you have listed.. Basically a diet change for me

I hope the diet changed helped. I'm not dye a colonoscopy until 2021 and the referral for the GI has run out. I think I definitely have inflammation in my colon because sometimes there is mucus in my stool and I get yellow when I wipe even if I don't have diarrhea.

Originally the GI I was seeing said I needed a colonoscopy in 2019 but my family doctor is going by the recommendation of 2021 by the surgeon who did my colon resection. I need a referral to get a colonoscopy and referrals come from my family doctor. If my symptoms keep up I can make an appointment to discuss a colonoscopy with her. Since my surgery in 2014 I either get many small bms a day, constipation or diarrhea. The yellow mucus and have pain more often is what's new.
