Tired
Hello Sisters,
This past week has been one of many emotions. Going to juvenile court was never on my bucket list as accomplishing during my lifetime but as you all know, we do what we feel is right in regards to our grandkids.
Hunter is adjusting well to a therapeutic environment and the staff are great (Hunter likes them as well). There are many opportunities for Hunter if this works out - we are still in the "wait & see" phase as paperwork gets processed.
I have unlimited visitation with him - it's just coordinating a time when he is not busy. Tomorrow after work I will be able to see him where he is living now so I'm excited about that.
I saw him last Sunday briefly for 25 min. - he looks good, sounds good - When he saw me, he smiled and said "you look anxious". Out of the mouths of babes, right? I said, "I am". This is new territory we find ourselves in and I just want to make sure you are doing okay. He looked @ me and said, "Yahya, I'm okay", I like the home, I have a roommate who is cool, the food is good, and I get to work in the community and get paid, I can still see you, I will get counseling finally......SIGH.....
It's new territory for sure, not what I had planned, but I see Jennifer's hand in this. I see her orchestrating this for the benefit of Hunter. I don't know how that can make sense to me, right now, in my guilt, confusion and tears, but I see Jennifer.
I'm tired today - trying to get rest, take care of myself, blah blah blah blah - but I just really want to blink and have everything turn up roses. (even roses have thorns, right?) - continued prayers, good thoughts, appreciated. I feel pretty weak @ the moment.
Hugs and much love from- Jennifer's mom, Always.

God's got this.. We know that, but still we are anxious. I am so glad that his attitude is positive and that he wants therapy. That can make all the difference for him. Take care of you too, my friend.
In reading this journal I hear hope. I hear a light at the end of a tunnel and, as tired as I'm sure you are, I hear you exhale... I am so glad! Hunter is one lucky kid to have your arms to hold him on his journey! I'm also really glad that you see Jennifer's hand in orchestrating this. Really tight hugs, Merrilee
The joy of Hunter is shinning for you and Jennifer love continues. Big Hug and some peace for you. Love, Kathy
Loving care and continued prayers your way dearest Vicki. I've been wondering how this has been unfolding for Hunter and yes, I see Jennifer's hand in this as well.
I appreciate your update and you have the love of your sisters of the heart in abundance.
Just this moment, day with huge inhales, exhales and pauses in the midst.
Hand in hand, Heart to heart,
XO Joanie
Just getting caught up on your Hunter. I'm keeping you both close at heart and know the best will work out for him and you. Sending much love and the most positive thoughts to you both.

Hi Vicki, I can well imagine how exhausted you are...take care of yourself as best you can as you support your dear grandson. Hunter is perceptive; noticing your anxiety right away. ♡
His attitude sounds positive and i hope your sense that Jennifer is orchestrating this intervention for her son will be a comfort to you after things settle down a bit. The program sounds like it has a lot to offer.
I'm thrilled that you have no limitations on your visits. You are such an important person in Hunter's life. I will keep Hunter and his lovely grandmother in my prayers.
XO XO Linda ♡
Havn't been on DS much at all lately. I am not sure what has happened with Hunter, but it sounds like he is doing well. So glad you two have each other in your lifes. I have no doubt that Jennifer knows exactly what is going on and is so proud of you both. (((((HUGS))))), Julia
I am sure Jennifer has her hand in everything Hunter. He is growing up if he can do this clean, he will turn out to be a good man. Keep the faith.
Hugs, Penny
