Time to turn things around

So it's been almost 5 months since I've had my son Callan and up until yesterday I hadn't been able to go one day without pulling.  With no eyebrows or eyelashes it is time to turn things around.  The huge stress of both of his  heart surgeries now behind me, it is time to start taking care of myself again.  I am working on my second day PF.  This may not seem like much, but it is huge compared to how I've been these past several months.  My son has beautiful eyelashes, and I'll admit it....I'm soooooooo jealous!!!!  I want to have what he has, even though I don't know if that is really even possible, but I won't know unless I let them grow back, but anything is better than what I have now.  Fingers crossed :)

congrats on your second day being pull free! Sounds like you\'ve had a lot to deal with! I hope that your son is doing well and that you\'re able to focus on yourself too. It\'s not easy being a mama, don\'t forget about you! :)

Thanks so much!!! He\'s doing really well. Just working on getting him to bottle feed (he has a feeding tube). You would never know he just had heart surgery 3 weeks ago!!! He\'s a tough little man :) Definitely hard being a mom, especially of a medical needs child, but I wouldn\'t trade him for the world. Just glad that I can start focusing on myself a little more. Let\'s hope for 3 days PF!!!!!!

Your sons name is beautiful!!! It must have been such a stressful time for u with the surgeries.
2 days pf is amazing!!! And don\'t let anyone tell u different. Rome wasn\'t built in a day. It takes so much willpower to just be one day pull free so u are a star!! X

Thanks alexandrite!! His name seems kind of fitting now since it means Powerful in Battle, and he has definitely had some battles.
I\'m actually working on my 4th day PF so that\'s really exciting!!! Hope I can keep it up :)
