Time to move? Again??
Last month I finally moved out of the house, I just couldn't take another day with her putiing me down. The last straw was her statement that she was happy that I have been going to church, and that I have admitted to being a bad person, as that proved that she was right all along about me. Yes it is true that I have done bad things in my time, I am a sinner, no question, but to use that as validation that all our marital problems rest on my shoulders, no, I do not accept that. So I packed some clothes and l left. didn't know where, and ended up first in a motel, and tehn rented a room in someone's house. My 13 YO asked me to live close so she could visit alot, and not have to wait for a ride, she wants to be able to walk or ride her bike. My 17YO has a car so he is no problem. But I want to accomodate her. The biggest obsticle is the cost, as the stbx does not work or pay for anything. I can barely afford the house and all expenses now. and the added expense of the rented bedroom is coming from savings. So if I rent an apt or condo, it will be from savings until she gets a job. If she gets a job. So I don't know exactly what to do. I want to move so I can have a home for the kids to live in 1/2 their time. I want the divorce to go through, but we do not have an agreement in place. I am strongly leaning towards renting the condo. I don't think the courts will like that the kids can not stay with me where I am. I have to have a home for them. And I will feel better with my own kitchen etc. The money I save by not eating out will probably pay the difference. And I will leave it in God's hands to make sure that the arrangement works. My life is so much more positive since I've left, without the nagging and negativity, and I pray every day for peace, for the ex, and for myself. Please Jesus, hear my prayer. Amen.

It will work out. Good things happen to good people and you are definitely good people! As always, you are in my prayers. Keep the faith! I know you will!

I was also in the same situation.Leaving to live in a tiny room and not having my children with me was the worst. You were right to not accept full blame for the breakdown of the marriage,it takes two, just as it takes two to maintain a relationship.
Try to get a lawyer and find out how much you are obligated to pay, etc. because if you can get a stable home and she cannot, then custody would be granted to you.It\'s admirable that you are still being responsible but you don\'t have to be the sole support. Why isn\'t she working?
God will give you what you need, but he also helps those who help themself.Arm yourself with legal knowledge to assist with this difficult transition.Often, especailly if it\'s a difficult emotional time,we don\'t always take the steps that we need to.but you need to protect your self and your kids interest here too.
As always,I will be praying for you, knowing that God is there for you.
