Time to Hustle

The world is still spinning and somehow I can't bring mysef to go back to working 12-14 hrs days again.  I have to in order to have what I want and start saving money.  I feel the time is right for me.  I at the present moment and am not caught up in the usual immature romantic notions.  I cleaned house romantically and must focus on the present situation and choose what I WANT in life.

Im always chasing men who dont want me or dont have my best interest in mind.  On the way to work this morning I finally said outloud "Thats it, I give up".   Ive never been worth anything to any of the men in my life.  I am not a man hater it's just I'm tired of just setteling because my time is running out.  Why pine away over those clearly don't care?

I believe Roomie cares about me, but, I think he just cares enough to want me around and nothing else.  It's not enough.   I wouldnt be so unhappy and having a foot in the door to run.  Ive got to do something.

When I have worked my way out of unhappy living arrangements, the long hours kept me too tired to pay much attention to judging other people, much less spending the money I was trying to save.

Didn't help much on the part of chasing men (or women or somewhere's twixt the tweens) who don't have my best interest in mind, though. It doesn't take long to catch a quickie in the copy room. . . Them quickies sure have gotten me in allot of trouble. Looking for love in all the wrong places. . .

For what it's worth:
This song was a hit during one of my earliest runs at working my way out of unhappy living arrangements. The tune still moves my tool of the day from time to time. It sets a very sustainable speed for my hyper-active metabolism.

That's one of those songs that once you listen to it a few times, you can't get it out of your head....

It seemed like whenever I had money, something would happen and that money would be gone so all the overtime I worked was for nothing. I knew a millionaire once and I remember talking to him about money and how to get it. He told me there ain't no money in wages. Those were his exact words. Only in selling can you make alot of money. I didn't take his advice until years later and the internet came along. Now I make a pretty good living thanks to ebay and amazon. I am incredibly thankful!

We all have needs. One of them is sex and one of them is love. These go along with food, and shelter and safety, as being basic needs and when we don't get our needs satisfied, then something breaks down and causes problems in our lives. Abraham Maslow is the one who figured this all out many years ago.
