Time......The Great healer?...or the REAL culprit?

As time goes by, one would think that someone afflicted with Hep-C an a cronic depression/anxiety/panic/depression disorder, would learn to deal with these afflictions with more conviction and determination to get "better," but, this process does not work like it does with other disablaities. If fact, just the oppisite seems to happen. The symptoms seem to get worse, and more difficult to deal with as time goes by. All of my attempts at treatment have failed, causing a strong feeling of FRUSTRATION! If only I could put down this heavy weight I carry with me at all times!

How do you drop a burning ember?

I know it brings hardship to you, this affliction, but inside every hardship is a gift, somewhere, always. Be open to that fact. Even the worst the present moment offers, accept it as how it is. This is the greatest healing there is. I know this and yet I still have to be vigilant and work on it every moment. The present moment is the doorway to the healing. What is there, right now, with you, in the present moment? Not what is in your mind or imagination, but what is really there. Look as deep at this as you can, every chance you get. I am sorry I am not putting this the best way possible.

Seeing it as a heavy weight you can\'t put down is resistance. I am sorry I can\'t word this better. I wish you no suffering and peace. And those things are possible for all, regardless of the situation they may find themselves in. I am sorry if what I am saying offends you in any way.

cont....... I don\'t mean to offend, I just have tasted something and I am trying to explain. And believe me, I am trying to explain it to myself. Cause it takes work, the knowing. I hope you find relief and peace from this affliction. Take care my friend....
