Time on my hands.

Today was bitter sweet. I had the meeting with my boss and she told me she was hurt by my email. I explained that it wasn't anything personal, but I wanted to get my point acrossed.  She said she understood and then proceeded to tell me that everyone in our department had been noticing a change in me.  I seemed more moody, when usually I am happy go lucky, I was very confrontational and not at all cheery like I usually am (I even won the Mr. Sunshine award before).       I was told to go home, not as a punishment, confer with my dr. and take as much time off as needed until I felt like myself again. I was told I could use FMLA if I so desired and needed that much time off.  She then hugged me and told me how much everyone loved me.  I take back everything I've ever said negative about my workplace...Gotta blame all that on the bipolar!  The company CEO stopped by my office to tell me to look up at the picture of me and him on the wall.  This picture had been taken 12 years ago and showed 2 happy go lucky guys having fun with life.  He told me to take time, rest up and follow the dr.s orders until they worked or we saw they wouldn't.  I am going to consult with another dr. in a nearby city, but still keep my appointment with my current dr. I am sorry for everyone on here who was disturbed by any of my comments.....Sometimes I just have no control over what I say or do. But I do have to honestly say, having that superman feeling when I am manic is mind blowing until your third day without sleep! Peace Out, Joshuattee
