TIME OF YEAR
HI JOURNAL,
IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR,
WHEN ONE HAS TO SPREAD ONE SELF THINLY.
TODAY I WILL BE ATTENDING XMAS LUNCH/PARTY,
AT A SUPPORT GROUP I AM A MEMBER OF,
THIS IS CALLED, 'LIKE MINDED PEOPLE' GROUP.
TOMORROW MY PRESENCE IS REQUIRED,
BY LOCAL PARKINSON'S SUPPORT GROUP TO ATTEND ,
THE VOLUNTEERS XMAS LUNCH/PARTY.
THIS IS WHERE AND WHEN,
THE VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR IS CHOSEN.
HOPEFULLY I WILL BE SPARED,
THE ORDEAL OF HAVING TO MAKE AN ACCEPTANCE SPEECH,
I WOULD RATHR FACE TWENTY HOSTILE ZULUS.
PLEASE PICK SOMEONE ELSE.
