time has been flyin
time goes by so fast! i can't believe that one week in PA is done with already and i have been back home. the only annoying things (health wise) in pA i experienced was major fatigue (sleeping 10 to 15 hrs + naps @ day), painful arthritis, and had the shits on and off, even after i got back. but tthe shits may be from eating out almost everyday while there. i was expecting a FM flare the 1st 48 hrs or so (in pA) but i guess i didn't get one, unless you count the fatigue as a flare? i've had this itchy rash that started out as a spot near my under arm (chest area) about 3 weeks ago and then while in PA spread all over my body. it's so damn itchy! i showed it to my primary care when it was just a few spots (before leaving to PA) and she prescribed me hydrocordazone cream. but every time i get some areas to go down, more pop up in other places with a vengance. they been leaving scars too. and no i don't really scratch em, i try to control myself. it's not shingles cuz then it would be only one side, but these are everywhere, and there's no blisters either. well, i see my PCM on the 16th this month, so i'll show her again. back then she thought it may be eczyma (sp?) but i never had it before or any rash like this either. i have a feeling she will put me on a steroid like prednizone or something. ugh... steroids. i guess as long as i don't Stay on em for that long, i should be fine. my FMS support group meeting went awesome yesterday! we had 2 new ladies and the one lady loves it so much she wants to bring more people she knows that suffer with this crap. it was a great meeting, and we talked about all kinds of stuff. Taminee (the one that was in the dvd with me) is so darn knowledgable about paper work, state and federal disabilities, the whole ins and outs of it all, etc. she is so helpful to us that have questions. and she knows all the VA process as well. i"m so glad to have her in our group! i really wish some of you here could be in the group, too. it would be pretty fun! btw, Deb, i forgot to mail your dvd out. i got cought up in some things, so i'll do that next. but 1st i gotta track down my doc and get her to refill one of my asthma meds. well... not much else gin on... matthew is still looking for a job. nobody is hiring. so maybe he'll just go back to school, he told me. whatever he does, i'm all for it. if he's happy, then i'm happy. he's awesome and is my angel! you all are awesome, too! i'm so lucky to have you all in my life!! HAPPY EASTER!

Awww thanks Alicia, I would still like to pay for it somehow!!!
I get random spots too, except mine sometimes get scabby, but not always and they\'re ony small, but bloody annoying. Usually in my armpits and I\'ve had them in a couple of other spots. I use zinc based powder under my arms (baby powder section), the hydrocortisone cream didn\'t do much.
sorry for your rash...but glad you didn\'t have a bad flare-up on your trip!!! hugzzz
Hey, Alicia! I can\'t believe you\'ve been here and gone already! I ended up working doubles most of the week to make up for the baby being in the hospital the two previous weeks! I\'m sad that I didn\'t get to meet up with you because I had something for you. Oh, well. I guess I\'ll have to send it to you. So, I\'ve been put on a whole slew of new meds. They help some, but I\'m still hurting. It\'s very frustrating! I, also, haven\'t been getting the greatest news, lately. So, I guess it\'s just a waiting game. Sorry to hear about the rash and I totally know what you\'re talking about when you said that you slept so much. I can barely stay awake half a day anymore. Well, I hope you\'re doing well and I hope to hear from you soon. Take care. Hugs....
