Time for change

Seems like Ive turned a corner in my feelings....having nearly killed myself last week,so glad it didn't work..... It has pulled me up fast....made me have a fresh look at my life and decided not to allow family to destroy me,realise for them to change I have to change,in that its no longer an option to treat me like a doormat. Im one for writing lists, which has helped alot.... I guess its all steps toward a positive outlook...  not saying its going to go my way all the time...as I just know someone is waiting with a very large pin to burst my bubble. I will just have to develop a stronger bubble. Maybe mixed with glue or something..... Ive managed to maintain my weight loss during the pagan feast which is something I have never done before.....the adverts on tv really do their job convincing you need to eat mountains of chocolates, pies and anything else that takes your desire... The whole of January I managed to only lose 7lbs..... February is going to be different.....I say to myself....step up on exercise even if it is indoor mountaneering[stair climbing]...every littles helps..... As I cannot go out,and walking is painful I have to come up with alternative ways of exercise which won't kill me...!!!  Ive got 3 months before I see my diabetes consultant and plan to stick to my plan of action....Im no saint....I probably will fall flat on my face soon....but just for today I want to revel in the feel good factor while it lasts. Meanwhile always looking for tips and advice for keeping away from temptation always welcomed.... I found pickled onions[not really a very sexy look] but they stop the chocolate cravings.... Oh how I wish there was a pill that made me slim overnight...Id be first in that queue....

I am so glad that you are feeling better about yourself. I was worried about you. Don\'t beat yourself up if you slip now and then from your meal plan. It happens to everyone. Congratulations on the weight loss!
