Tim's log of irrelevant or relevant information
Hello everyone. This is my first journal entry. Happy New year (2014). My name is Tim and I've had CFS since Sept of 2007. I used to have a full time job with rotating shiftwork. At the same time I worked part time on a plant nursery, with large gardens, I was building. Once the dust settled from the changes CFS worked in my life many things had changed. I no longer had a plant nursery open at all. The gardens are (argh!) filled with weeds and horribly overgrown. I now telework from home as I'm a danger to myself and others if I drive more than about 30 to 60 minutes. The driving thing varies, but gets worse if I drive too much.
I'm trying to stay able for the most important things in my life. The first is keeping the wife happy. She's now my chauffeur and a wonderful one she is. The second is managing my energy to be able to play with grandkids. Love them grandkids. I've always had projects going in my life, but CFS stopped all of them. My two oldest girls suggested I start writing down the stories I used to make up for them as we worked. The CFS Doctor said, "That is a great idea. It would be good therapy for you."
I've loved the writing, but learned that even writing is something that takes energy. My problem with it is trying to make something great. Looking forward to finishing the process of getting ready for publication. My CFS has helped in my writing. It's given me experiences I never had before. As a result my main character has an illness of unknown character. It takes all of his energy and is slowly killing him. Enough about my writing. Good luck to all and take care. I've found a positive from my illness. I hope other can find a positive too or at least a positive way of dealing with it.

So sorry Tim, I didn\'t see your journal until now.As you know I have been having a difficult time regarding my daughter. So I am just now attempting to catch up.My husband became my chauffer quite some time ago, I haven\'t actually driven for a long time, which I find disappointing, as in loss of independance. So many things are changed as a result of this cfs.The most positive thing for me has been joining DS and having suppport from some great people.Good luck with your writing Tim, how fortunate you are to have such a talent. Please excuse me for my lacking in the area of English expression.Keep in touch. So sorry you have cfs as well.xoxo
I still drive myself, but I can\'t work anymore. I\'m glad you can! Keep jounaling --- people read and sometimes don\'t comment (like me)!
Thanks both of you for commenting. I\'m continuing to be amazed at how supportive people are on here for each other.
