Tick Bite
Got ready to go to bed last night and what do I find a TICK and it is a American Dog Tick which are the kind that cause Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever...what they think the little girl Kendall passed away from.....Sorta worried...Going to call the doctor tomorrow to see if I should have the Tick tested....Never had a tick before...so this is just a happy thing to worry about....Every one says I should get it tested.
Thank God no piano practice tonight at church as my wrist is still hurting. Finally went and got my hip and pelvis x-rayed .....I really think it is my back...so if the x-ray does not show anything...will ask for MRI of the back....
Tired...Tired.....Tired...that is all I am anymore and it just seems to be getting worse...I don't know what is making me so tired.....It takes all my energy to write a journal....Pain and Tired....Life....

Try not to worry too much. I have deer ticks on my property and I get tick bites now and then. The deer tick carries Lyme disease, but not every tick bite is from a disease-carrying tick...just like being bitten by a mosquito does not mean you are going to get West Nile Virus.
I used to fish at night here in Florida...I got a million mosquito bites, but never got any diseases from them. I\'ve lived here since 1962, never got sick from a mosquito bite or a tick bite.
Hi Sandi, I think in addition to whatever was going on in our bodies prior to losing our sons, the grief just kicks the heck out of us. I am constantly tired too, have trouble sleeping and difficulty focusing at work. But we are doing the best we can. I would get checked too. My neighbor suffers from Lyme disease from a tick bite and it is not pleasant so go ahead & get checked out. I hope you are fine and probably it will not turn out to be anything but I think it is good to be proactive. Love to you and Ken, Linda
I hope the tick proves to be harmless and that your health is not affected. As for being tired ...it is just what Linda says...Grief does a number on everything in our bodies. I hope you can find the cause of your hip pain but like you said..it could be your back. My husband just went through this very same thing....his hip has been hurting but it is his back (bulging discs determined by the MRI) that is the culprit. Thanks all. the tick I got bite by carries the Rocky Mountain Fever what the little girl I requested prayer for died of last week..that is my concern that is my worry it being in our area....dr said it I start running fever and rash call them...I found out the hip has some arthur in it..but I think it is the back cause it is getting to where I can barely even walk or ride in the car even laying down it is very painfu...so when i see my doctor on Monday I will ask for an Mri of the back....Love you guys thanks, Sandi

I was going to make some stupid joke about being \"ticked off,\" but I will resist because the written word sometimes gets misconstrued. I hope your doctor can help you out with your pain. Pain alone can make you exhausted. I too, my friend, can feel depleted after writing a journal entry. This journey is just too hard. Don\'t forget, Sandi, that you have been playing advocate for your mom very recently. I am getting tired just thinking about how tired you must be! Love ya, gal.

Hope you get the MRI it will answer your questions. If it is not from any medical reason, try acupuncture. It really works on pain. I used to see someone who did acupuncture, for my headachs it really worked, this AP worked with aids patients to relieve side effects of all the medication they took. Just a thought.
