Hello folks. I am extremely thankful for this place to go and vent and write down my thoughts so I don't forget any of what is happening. I am also thankful for the friends I have made here.
My grandson finally got out and caught the bus this morning. First time this week. My daughter was just in my room crying. She refuses to let my grandson go to foster care. It seems that in this area there is no preventative programs for kids at risk. They have to do something terrible before they are sent to a boys home or a hospital where they can get their attitudes back on track. My grandson seems to think that if he promises to do all the things he is supposed to that that is enough and he can have what ever he wants. Instead of showing us that he is doing these things FIRST. And he flies into a rage when his mother doesn't jump up and do for him when he tells her to. He will pee on the floor, lock her out of the house, hit her, etc. rather than do as he is supposed to do and treat his mother(and I) with respect.
My daughter has come a LONG way in the past couple of years. She was very lenient and let my grandson get away with a lot and didn't follow through with what she said. She is doing much better. But my grandson is still living in a mental world where his mom did that, and she does fall back and is not consistent. But, for the most part, she is making him respect her, making him say please, making him do for himself and he is getting better. But he is not consistent and he is immature AND he is O.D.D. He could be the poster child for O.D.D. It is so difficult to live with a child that is like this. And these people that are helping us don't live in this world and they don't know what it is like. They really need to get a clue and come live in our world for a week or two.
Thanks for reading this and being here.

Glad you find DS good too hun to write down your thoughts and everything. I too am journalling more and it is really helping. I know you are going through so much hun and i just pray everything gets at least a bit better day by day. I know you have so much to deal with hun, but keep journalling and know i am keeping you and your family in my prayers. Big hugs x
Kids need rules to be able to function in this world, with consistency. It is not easy to be a parent and it just seems that it gets harder and harder as this world changes. I love having a place to journal as well. I am so bad at reading others because I\'m always spending so much time on the boards. I have to get better at reading journals. I hope you had a fun and safe Halloween! Hugs GB
