Hello all. Sounds like many of my friends on here are doing better. That is always a good sign.
My family is doing okay. My daughter and grandson are on good med situation right now. My grandson is going to have his 13th birthday on the 24th and is being the normal teen. Is doing pretty well though. My daughter had her 44th birthday yesterday.  Mine will be my 64th on November 6th.  Interesting how we keep moving along.
I am feeling the winter blues coming on and am just sleeping and doing what I can.  Writing has come to a screeching halt due to some of the sites I used to write for closing their doors. Sad. The ones that are still up are hardier to have things accepted and so I haven't had anything go live for several weeks now. Rejection is tough.
And a friend, or what I thought was a friend, lied to me and I had to end that friendship. This is hard. I am very picky on those people I do become friends with so having done so in this case it is hard to end it. But, such is life I guess. It is sad and I will surely miss her. I am just very outspoken about my views as to lying, ethics, drugs, and such. I just can't put up with these things. She had acted this way before and I gave her another chance. But, not so again. Life is too short to be friendly and open with people who are not ethical and who lie.
So I hope every one is taking it a day at a time and doing better. I am trying to be more positive and go slow into this life. Seems to be doing okay too. Enjoy the holidays. Take care. All for now.

Eve

I\'m glad that things are going well for you for now, Hopefully the winter blues won\'t bring you down too much, try and think positive and I\'m sure you\'ll make it though.
Sorry about your friend but none of us needs people in our lives that lie or worse, we are better off without them.
Good luck with your new goal of trying to be happier and taking it one dya at a time.
Hugs, Jean

I think taking it one day at a time is the best advice for people with depression. Thank you, Hugs! Eve
