Thursday morning, today,we meet my new care worker
Good morning journal, the time is now 9:27am and I have just awakened after twelve hours of sleep, apart from about twenty minutes around 5:00am when all three of our fur children woke me to go outside. After they had returned indoors, they all piled into our bed clustered around me in a heap of warm fur that sent me back to sleep almost immediately until Caesar again woke me by barking loudly and fiercely at some poor unfortunate workmen outside carrying out road resurfacing in the street. After finally placating him by lots of cuddles and reassurance,he has now settled on the floor behind my computer chair while his two sisters are on the sofa beside my wife, one bigĀ happy family, and we wouldn't have it any other way. On January 3rd,I saw my doctor who is referring me to occupational therapy, someone will come to see us and have a look around our home and make plans to install a few things that, hopefully, will make things easier for us,a shower seat so I can actually take a shower without falling over, bath rails, perhaps a ramp outside our front door, and perhaps a few other things,we will have to discuss these with the therapist when he or she visits us. This afternoon around 2:00pm,we will be visited by yet another mental health care worker, this will be the third in as many months, the first two having left the mental health department within days of taking on my case, hopefully Ms Farida Abbas will last a little longer,it would be nice to have someone who deals with my wife and I personally as they are supposed to do,instead of some anonymous receptionist who hasn't a clue who we are. Yesterday was a day for resting for me,I managed to remain up all day, which is an accomplishment for me these days as I tend to need a nap in the afternoon most days, but I actually managed to stay awake, which was very pleasing on a personal level, before finally succumbing just before 9:00pm and tottering off to bed after taking my night time medication. Physically,I am still very much weakened by the efforts I have had to make over the past few weeks, but I am getting a little stronger as time passes,I refuse to rush things, and,if truth be told,I couldn't even if I wanted to,my pace of life has slowed to something akin to a stampeding snail on speed,I think I'm rushing along until I look at the world around me and I realize that everything is seemingly moving at the speed of a formula one racing car while I seem to be meandering along on a bicycle with a puncture in both tires. Mentally,I have adapted to what is happening within my mind quite well,Jeremiah,Ruth and Micah have seemingly taken it upon themselves to slow down to allow me to listen and finally understand what they are saying before they move on to something else. I am reading my bible daily,or should that be three bibles?,I am comparing the King James translation with an amplified bible which includes the Apocrypha, and the international version called the message which the young evangelist that I met in the street gave me. I feel that every day I grow closer to God,and I know that He speaks through my voices when they converse with me,I feel so saddened when I think of people who don't know God,or haven't allowed Him into their lives, they really don't know what they are missing. We talk about Heaven and Hell, everyone knows about Heaven, even those who choose not to believe, but when you ask people about Hell, they describe it as a place where there are eternal fires of damnation where we pay for our earthly sins, for me,Hell is simply anywhere where there is an absence of God,and, sadly, that can,and does, manifest itself on earth today,in war zones, ghettos, places where people live like animals, forced to scavenge daily for whatever means of sustenance they can find, they have turned their faces from the Savior,God cannot look upon sin,He has to be asked to change lives and situations, sadly, too many people seem to have forgotten how to ask,or in a lot of cases, simply have had the capacity to believe driven out of them by their own personal circumstances. Well journal, once again I grow weary in my chair,it is time to move, replenish my coffee cup,and spend some time with my family, until next time,I thank my friends for their comments and their love, you lift my spirits my friends, and I am very grateful, thank you all,we venture forth into another day, trusting in The Lord to help us through the day ahead, thank You Father in the name of Your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ,......Amen.

I love how you always end your journals with a heart felt prayer. Amen
You are right. Hell is what those other people say. But, it is more and most importantly, a lack of God\'s presence.
Most people know of hell because of the following scripture:
Revelation 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
But, notice that this is at the end of this world. The devil, beast, and the false profit are to be there. Possibly, the only ones there.
Here is another scripture you need to look at:
Matthew 25:41
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
This is at the great judgment time, when those who have not truly accepted Jesus as savior will be thrown into the lake of fire. Notice it says:
prepared for the devil and his angels:
It was never really meant for humans.
Keep reading and believing.
Praying WITH and FOR you and your wife!!
