Thursday morning,tired,in pain but awake
Good morning journal, the time is now 7:07am,I am so very tired, but,I am awake and drawing strength from my second mug of coffee of the day.I had a very disturbed night of sleep when I was awakened at 3:30am with the same intense pain in my left shoulder and neck, after about twenty five minutes of massaging the affected area, the pain lessened enough for me to doze fitfully on our sofa, only to be awakened once again with the same pain at 6:05am.Having given up on the idea of sleep,I decided to make some coffee and come here for no other reason than it gives me something to do and takes my mind off of the pain.Whether it is the warming of the coffee or the forced movement of my left arm to try and alleviate the soreness, something is working, and the pain is almost gone thankfully. As I've mentioned before,I don't know what the cause of the pain is,I don't think it is anything to do with my heart as after I get rid of the pain by moving around for a while it doesn't return all day until it wakes me after a period of sleep. My wife thinks it may be some sort of neuropathy,I'm not even sure what that is,but she is pretty clued up on a lot of stuff about symptoms and medicine,so I bow to her greater knowledge.I do have tachycardia,my heart beats too quickly, but I take something called bisoprolol which slows down my pulse,it's a beta blocker,I don't know if that could be causing the problem or not,but I will ask the doc next time I see him which is on October 17th,so it isn't too far away.Anyway,at the moment I've just looked across at our puppy Caesar and discovered, much to my frustration and his amusement, that he has disemboweled a stuffed doggy toy belonging to Bree, our middle dog,and at the present time, our lounge floor resembles Santa's grotto,so I had better clean it up before his human mother sees the mess.Okay, that's another little job done, one relatively clean lounge floor and one suitably chastised puppy given a very stern lecture, not that it matters,he's probably forgotten all about it already.I find it very hard to remain angry at any of our canine children for long, they all have this sheepish way of looking at you which makes you forget halfway through any lectures just why exactly you were mad at them in the first place.Funnily enough,my human children had exactly the same look when they were being scolded for some misdemeanor, and with the same results,I usually forgot why I was angry at them and the lectures ended with an,"okay, don't do it again", from me and that was that.Thankfully, this should be the last week that Bree is in season,we have had to be extremely vigilant in our efforts to thwart Caesar's passion as he tried every way known to dogs, plus a few I'm sure he invented himself,to impregnate Bree before her ardor starts to wane,we have enough mouths to feed son, and,as soon as the finances become available, you will both be going to see that nice vet you love so much.As to other news?,nothing, nothing and nothing, that takes care of that then, you know,I am always surprised that for someone with nothing new to report,I still manage to come up with enough crap to fill a page every time I sit down in my chair,I have this sort of inbuilt ability to write whole essays on absolute rubbish,it's a gift!. I have lost count of the times i have reread what I have written and actually said to myself,"who wrote this drivel?",only to then have to admit to myself that it was me,as my mother used to say frequently,"there are saner people locked up!",.....and you know what?,I agree with her!. The pain in my left shoulder has finally settled to a faint throb and I will take that all day long, that in itself,is a reason to be grateful when I compare it to the agony I woke up in,I am very tired, but that's because of the disturbed night I've just experienced I'm sure, perhaps later on I might have a doze in my armchair,we'll see.Well, daylight is finally here and the hands on my watch say 8:21am,the past hour or so has been interesting, but it is now time to draw this episode of ramblings to a close, until next time journal, may the Good Lord continue to provide the things we need to survive, and may He walk with us side by side through another day.

I enjoy these ramblings. I also love to hear about your \"children\" keep it up!!
The pain, have it looked at. I found that my hips hurt during the night and early morning. found out it was due to a hard mattress and arthritis. Also had pain in neck and shoulders. found out that was cervical dystonia. Yea, yea.
The pain also reminds me I am still alive and here on earth to continue God\'s work!!!
May He continue to use me and you..
