Thursday June 4 2015 about 2a.

Good Morning all. I just woke up as I often do. The kids are back. They had gone camping and weren't to be back until Saturday. Must be cold up there. They are asleep so I can't ask them.

I have been writing for this group of sites since last November. The way they worked was that the other writers voted for your work or you could get friends to go into the sites and vote for your work. If you got the most votes you got compensated for your work. If you didn't get the most you didn't get paid. Sometimes the sites would take pity on your and pay you later but lately they rarely do that. So I have been scrambling for votes.
I write about seven or eight articles each week and out of that maybe five are accepted if that. Others are rejected due to some obscure grammar or format issue which they don't go into detail about so you have to scour your piece for any problems you can find and then repost it.

Yesterday I had two up and was up against a gal on each one that always got a lot of votes. So I put out requests to about 50 people. Friends and online acquaintances. Out of that 50 I got about ten votes.  About half of the remainder saw my request but chose to ignore. The rest either made lame excuses or just never did anything.

I am really not understanding. Some say they don't want to get spam and others they don't sign up for just any sites. Well, all you have to do is to go over and put in a username or password. So what if they send you notifications, they are usually about other work I have written and so then they can go vote on it. I really don't see a problem. If they were my friends I think they would just do it.

And the difference between those that will just go over and vote is astounding. Takes them tops of 2 minutes to do it. Where these others have all kinds of problems and excuses. I almost have to laugh at how pathetic they are.

SO I have really learned about human nature these past few weeks. How about a third of the given populous is light hearted and rather positive and will help out a fellow human in need of a favor. Another third will totally ignore you. And the last third will make lame and almost idiotic excuses not to do it. Almost fall all over themselves with excuses rather than just helping. It is amazing.

How are you doing with this hon? I was off my computer for nearly a month due to severe depression (bi-polar), panic attacks and anxiety. I didn\'t think it would ever end. Missed you!!! Hugs
