Wow, I might be in pain, but it's been counter-acted by my great news from work!!I have only been there since 11 December as a casual executive assistant. Great for me, cos in the last 4 years, I haven't worked much at all. I had a six-week, part-time stint a few weeks before I started this job, which was great, and before that a 3 month part-time receptionist position in a caravan park, but otherwise, virtually nothing.Today our temporary CEO left and now the Director of Nursing is in charge, but I got told I'm in charge of Operations, basically taking over from him, just not the pay (darn it), until the contract goes through for the takeover of the business by another company - about 2 months.WOOOO BABY - I'M SO EXCITED, NERVOUS, PLEASED, SCARED AND PROUD OF MYSELF!!I didn't think I'd ever get back to a job of responsibility - I hope I can do it, but it is so nice to know that people have faith in me again. I've had a couple of brain fog days, and I'm absolutely knackered at the end of each day and on weekends, but it's so nice to be 'BACK".

Good on you - hope all goes well.
Good 4 you! I am so glad you got a position that you really wanted. The contract may not even interrupt your new job responsibilities, that would be great! Hope things work out just the way that you want them to. Take Care of U, Deena
