Thursday

I was up this morning and managed to wash my hair which has become a chore for me but i can't bring myself to cut it.  Roomie informed me that his mother died the night before and so I am taking him dinner tonight.

Last night I got home and Joe was showing me a picture of his lady friend's daughter in the Keys.  I think I am going to have a honest talk with him and tell him I feel like I am holding him back in a sense.  I don't party and I don't drink and don't feel it responsible to pick up and move to the Keys with no job.  I have bills and responsibilities.  I think they are texting alot while I am at work.

I need to tell him if he wants to pursue a relationship with her, that, I wont stand in his way and honestly as tired as I get dealing with his alcoholism the more I welcome their relationship.  Ive learned alot about myself through all this.  I don't love him.  Not enough atleast, to stick around an deal with his antics.  When he called last night, he was at the enabler's house drinking.  He promised me the night before that he would not drink and drive however he did.  If he is adult enought  to make that decision and face the consequences, then, he is adult enough to get his own car insurance.  I'm not going down with him.

Last night, I went and got my overpriced pedi and decided I'd do my own from now on.  I hate being taken advantage of.  Lesson learned.

Even with a fresh buzz, washing my hair in an RV is a cramped pain in the backside. In herstorical fact, the logistics of washing thick, butt length hair under such conditions was the very inspiration for 1 or 3 of my buzz haircuts.

I tried to get a manicure once. Couldn't handle the spa ambiance. I ended up in full flight before the first hand was finished. Money had nothing to do with ^it^, even though I was homeless at the time.

As you know I’m a recovering alcoholic. Drove drunk too many times. It was never an ‘adult’ decision to drive like that. More of a;, I’m in complete denial about my actions thing’. In fact I didn’t do much thinking about healthy decisions at all. I’m thankful that I never had an ‘accident’ or hurt anyone.
He’s still on your insurance? Why?

Finally, Cause that little "savior" voice keeps telling me he's gonna change even though I know he won't.

Arfie, The RV is comfortable however cluttered (which bothers me). It's not the surroundings as much as it is just being in a rut and not wanting to get out of bed. As far as the whole mani/pedi thing, my ex use to insist on me getting them, however, I have a hard time sitting still long enough to enjoy them and I tend to sit and think about the money I'm spending (I can't help myself), rather than looking at it as a treat to myself which winds up being more stressful-. Hence the reason why Ill do my own from here on out.

Why not just stop. Stop doing shit because a man wants you to do it or because you feel it’s keeping a man happy or solid. Just stop.

Unless you have accident forgiveness, the first accident will increase your rates by 15%

When I was young and foolish and didn't know any better, I had an accident that was my fault, and then another and another. 3 accidents in 3 years and even though they were just minor fender benders, my insurance company dropped me so I looked around and tried to find another company to insure me and nobody would because I was high risk.

I had a job which required me to have insurance so I was desperate to find any company. One of my old school pals had a sister who worked for the local State Farm office. I don't know how she did it but she fixed it so they could insure me. I could have kissed her, I was so happy!
I still had to pay a higher rate but at least I had insurance. I was soooo relieved! I'll never forget that!
