Thursday
Yesterday I stopped by and visited with Roomie. The clean dishes from Sat were still in the dishwasher and dishes were piled up in the sink. The catbox was overflowing. Of course, when I got there I emptied the diswasher for him and cleaned the catbox-but left the dishes in the sink for him. I watered my flowers and filled the bird seed feeder. Asked him how work was going and said he was happy that the job he was working on was ending soon and he'd be working at Mayo again. I hope he finds love- I really want him happy. I was trying to recognize the feelings I was having and remembered I felt this way when I took care of my dad before he died.
Had a few errands last night to run after leaving Roomie and then drove home. Joe RV has a Winnibago he's trying to sale and he had taken some new tires down to have them mounted and will put them back on today. He was not drunk when he arrived home and did not drink after that. He had hung the coffemugs in the kitchen on hooks and had gone and bought new blinds to put up. He got up and had coffee with me this morning. I mentioned that I was in no hurry to get married and he didn't say anything to argue-I'm taking control and moving at my pace for once. I think he knows I have reluctancy about the whole thing.
At work now beginning a new day so I will say to all-"Enjoy your day":)

I think you are very smart to exercise patience so you can get a good blueprint of what you can expect in a marriage.
Does Roomie get to go back to being "Friend" now that you have moved out? Maybe "Sammycat's Caregiver?" SG? Just wondering. . .
Yay you for taking control and moving at your own pace on the newest nuptials. May the precedent grow to sustainable independence. To my heavily psychotheraputed mind, my independence and my nuptials are independent subjects, but one hand still washes the other.
Good!
Roomie and I will always be friends...we talked about that weeks ago. Marriage is currently out of mindset right now. Im not ready for it.
The ring is back in the box.
