Thunder Over Louisville was Fun/Painful
I had a good time yesterday at Louisville's Thunder Over Louisville. It is the largest fireworks display in America and is held every year as the first event for the Ketucky Derby Festival. It was cold and had been a little rainy but fortunately I work at a building near the river which made for great (and warm viewing).
I'm glad I made myself go because I was feeling kind of bad yesterday with the cold and rain. It was like every joint that may have something wrong with it decided to throb and swell all day and I was rediculously stiff all over. But, instead of having "woe is me fest 2012" I decided to do the following:
1. Take my behind to Thunder and have a good time laughing with my family and friends
2. I need to boost my exercise in the pool and on land
3. Drop as much weight as possible (I am going hardcore to reduce the load) because
In other words, I am going to work on controlling the things I can control and give the rest to my higher power.
