thu: some progress!

we (mom, sonnie, & me) had a family discussion last night about all the problems and stress that's been goin on. we put all the issues on the table and now i think he has a better picture about what we need to acomplish as family. my bro told us last night that he finally decided to get a better paying job. we also talked about his problem of distrespect after we cover his ass as much as we can. and i expressed my anger about how he treats mom. so after the whole discussion, we finally came to an agreement as to what our goals are as family. so he agreed that he will start looking for a job, send in his resume and schedule an inter view. i told him how that the both of us need to keep increasing the income, because mom can't and has no control over hers. so we both need to provide better and better so she can live more comfortably. of course my part in that is finding a better home for us that will save us money and of course i'm still apealing my case with the VA for more disability pay. so he agreed that his part is to find a better job. well thank God that we are finally getting thru to him! in other news...Matt and i had a fun labor day weekend together. i actually relaxed and kicked back instead of running around trying to get things done. it was good and i really needed that. I thank God for the good time we had! we hit the beaches and grilled up some yummy steaks. and on Saturday he took me out on a date to a restaurant and we ate some yummy burgers and steak fires. i really apreciated the dinner out cuz i needed to get away from home for once and just spend time alone with him, eating together, just us two. it was wanderful and i hugged him and thanked him. he smiled and said he really likes it when i smile, he really likes my smile. he such a sweetie! so all and all... other than some irritating sciatica, the past weekend holiday has been pretty good and i'm pretty happy about things.
