Throat still bad

Still can't get rid of this sore throat - thought I had yesterday.  And even went to see Gordon at the Home.  He is so painfully thin and even though he smiled and laughed a couple of times, the extent of the Alzheimer's still upsets me.  Woke up this morning again with a sandpaper throat.

You\'ve got a lot on your plate, haven\'t you? But of course, you know you need to rest, don\'t you?

I can\'t imagine the pain you\'re going through. How do you cope?

You are very brave and very caring. I admire you very much. How painful it must be going to see Gordon as he now is. Some stop going you know. How I cannot imagine. I am hoping your health is improving. You have so much you are dealing with.
We Alz spouses have a sad road. Someday I hope they will find a real cure. Meantime I send you love and admiration. Hugs, Sandy

Dear Friend,

It is hard enough to be sick oneself. and you have the added weight of seeing your husband grow weaker.

I think that you need to put all your available energy into your own healing right now....I hope you have support and comfort and help in your getting better

hugs.....

I\'m sorry that you are struggling so much with thoughts of Gordon and all he is going through. That must be really hard to deal with.
Take care of yourself, and get better soon.
