Thoughts of the day.......
I love my H, I love him with all my heart and I keep wishing that things would've been different but at the same time I keep moving forward. Some TLC for me today, got me a manicure and pedicure, got a me a new sheet set for my bedroom and got rid of ALL the old ones, the ones that we used together, the new sheets are colorful and with butterflies on it, kinda girly, cause they are mine.
All his pics and family pics are of the walls - set up at session in Walmart to get new pics with me and the kids cause that is my new family, already got me some new picture frames that are going up on the walls.
Even though I love him more than anything I'm removing him from the house, the bedroom is the place were mostly everything is gone, is my bedroom now and it is my refuge.
Since my walls are bare can't wait to get my new pics up, it will be different and probably hurtful but that is my new reality, it was his choice to leave this family so it is us now and him.
Today was a good day and hopefully the rest of the weekend will be the same since the weekends are usually lonely.

great for you! i have removed all of his stuff already but havent started to replace anything. great idea getting new pics made. i may have to get some of me and the kids taken too. :}

wow how encouraging...so hard but good for you wanting to make a fresh start....having his face out of the picture litterally will make things better ...you can breathe again
I remember when I was moving out of the house. It was really painful. The entertainment centre which had our pictures in it was empty. She had got rid of all of them. I just couldn\'t understand how she could just forget about me like that. I guess it was her way of moving on. It\'s so painful. So what you are doing is good for you. Sometimes you just have to accept, and that is how it is. You can not do anything to change someone\'s mind. We will get through this no matter how hard it seems. (((HUGS)))

Making small and big physical changes helps a lot.
I was quite tight on money when I ended my marriage. I started with new coffee mugs! Made a difference.
Little by little I made changes in the house decorations. Leaving some things for my kids who needed to adjust slowly.
Good for you for taking care of yourself! I got a fabulous 2 hour massage this morning! Quite cheap where I live although the salon raised their prices! Still less than $40!
