Thoughts During the night

I woke up at 4:00 am and thoughts of what exactly happened with my daughter kept going over and over in my head.  I kept going through conversations and events trying to figure out exactly when all this started and what I did or didn't do to keep this from happening.  This is a situation that I didn't see coming until it was upon me.  It caused me alot of tears and anxiety.  I love that child so much and never would have thought I would be in this situation.  It is such a betrayal by someone I love so much.  It really has shaken my view of the world and things that I have always thought were true for me.  One of them being if you love your children and try to teach them good values they will turn out to be loving adults.  They would have some caring feelings toward you too and not want you to suffer because of their actions.  I felt that no one or nothing could ever change that, because nothing could change the way I feel about my daughter.

(((HUGS))) I hate nights like that when you can\'t turn off your brain and the why\'s keep coming with no answers. I hope you are feeling better, my friend. Love and hugs, Pam

I have been doing well lately. Then my Mom comes for a visit for my birthday. She was only here for a few hours. We went for lunch. It was me and my boys and her husband. My husband was working. We did some shopping she wanted to do, and on the way home she asked my boys if they wanted to go see my daughters and my grandchildren. There was an uncomfortable moment of silence. My 14 year old said no right away, and my youngest said that he would go he guessed. Then he looked at me and said he would take pictures. I said ok and then my the time we got home Will said that he didn\'t want to go. I wish she would have the ssense to talk with me about it first, then I would not have been side swiped along with my sons. I don\'t think she understands what a painful thing this is for all of us. It is not something that we feel lightly about, and it is always depressing. I wish that she wouldn\'t come at all when she causes such hurt to all of us. Nancy
